• It does not have a power off button. Go into settings and choose what you want the Roku to do after certain time period. Apple TV, Fire TV and Roku streaming devices all work this way.

• When you hit the power button on the Roku remote, the Ultra goes into sleep mode, but does stay on. I have no issues with mine getting hot though. The light turns off, so no unwanted lights at night too!
