Yes. You just need an HDMI cable. The Ultra will figure out the resolution of your TV and adjust accordingly. If you are full HD then that would be 1080p. I ran the older version on a full HD TV for a year before upgrading to 4K.

If your TV is not 4K, then you are wasting some money by buying this model. You should go for a lower priced model of Roku that doesn't support 4K.
