Atmos is supported depending on the source. You should be able to play the new Jack Ryan series on Amazon Prime Video. It is their single title as of this writing. VUDU. In the case of Atmos if it doesn't work then make sure you are not using ARC. Brands like Samsung do not support that. Hulu is only 5.1 with a few providers. You need to buy something like an XBOX One to get Atmos on Netflix (test with Lost in Space). This seems to be related to devices that can fully encapsulate any signal into Atmos. Mind boggling that the Roku devices are left out but so are all the other major devices. If you hook directly into an AVR and can't get Atmos on the Jack Ryan title then you should open up a support ticket. It's simply pass through and the device shouldn't care. Mind you I am only speaking about streaming services and not something local on the USB or Plex, or Kodi. https://support.roku.com/article/208754498-how-to-set-up-your-roku-streaming-player-for-surround-sound
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Thanks for your question! We do support Dolby Atmos pass through on content that offers Dolby Atmos audio encoding. Your AVR or TV would require Dolby Atmos decoding support for audio output. Roku Customer Advocate www.roku.com

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.YES, it does. I watch DolbyVision movies in Dolby Atmos through the Vudu app on my Roku Ultra.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, it will not. It does not decode those sound fields nor does it decode HD Master Audio 7.1. It will decode in 5.1.
