No, no monthly fees unless you subscribe to hulu or netflix or any other streaming apps.

you can just watch what is free .. but its not a lot. I am paying 76 for most everything including movies vs direct tv that was close to 200

Only if you buy channels like HBO. Otherwise it's a one time purchase.

Not unless you subscribe to one of the many streaming services, but the Roku let's you watch plenty of free channels.
