It does play any type of program to include 4K.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You are seeing wrong answers. Yes Amazon Prime 4k and Netflix 4k works on newer Vizio 2016 P series. HDR10 is not a chipset it is software. Dolby vision is a chipset. Both formats are being used to display HDR content. Vizio P series 2016 models have DV chipset and HDR10 software (from a software update). ROKU 4k 1st generation works fine with 4k TV. Roku 4k Ultra model does not reliably display 4k and HDR content. Beware. I purchased 2 units both did not deliver and one failed. I have been using my roku 4k 1st generation with no HDR successfully. I want HDR so I may try a Roku 4k ultra again but I am hesitant to purchase a third unit. Roku Tech support is not entirely helpful in navigating the issues. I recommend a ROKU 4k 1st generation for 79.99 with no HDR unless you are willing to experiment with the newer Ultra for 119.99.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've watched Prime HDR, but I subscribe to Netflix's base package which does not support 4K and I assume it does not support HDR
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Don't know about Vizio tv's but it works on my Samsung.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it will work. Vizio and LG TVs have both HDR chips in their 4k HDR TVs so as long as your TV is 4K and HDR you will get the apps to run in 4K HDR on your TV. there are 2 chips 1 Dolby Vision and the other is HDR10. LG and Vizio TVs put both in their TVs so it does not matter what the source is it will play both. Samsung and Sony TVs only have Dolby vision. Hope that helps some.
