QuestionHow large a capacity micro SD card can I use in the Roku 4 Ultra ?

- Answer Anything over 2 Gig is overkill. The card is used to store games or channel lists. The Roku is a streaming device only, which means you can't download video to the card. There are some exceptions such as a couple of apps that allow you to download videos you've rented or purchased. However, there aren't many. To answer your question straight out, I believe the Ultra can handle a 64 Gig card, but using a card that big is just a waste of storage, IMO.

QuestionHas anyone used this device (Roku - Ultra Streaming) paired with a Samsung 4k TV to watch UHD movies on VUDU? The Roku 4 is supposed to work but I would like to purchase the Ultra instead. Thank-You

- Answer If you notice, the Roku 4 is no longer featured on Roku's site. One of the drawbacks for that model was lack of HDR capabilities. I have the Roku Ultra and it definitely has an option to use HDR onto your HDR capable TV. Note: My TV has HDR set to 'on' so this might be something to take into consideration. The Roku won't magically provide HDR to a 4K TV that doesn't support HDR.

- Answer You should definitely have a broadband connection, whether it is cable, DSL or fiber. That connection should be a minimum of 3 Mbps for SD (standard definition) streaming, and a minimum of 5 Mbps for HD video streaming.

QuestionI just purchased ultra roku and when my husband went to set up a phone number came up to call. They wanted a $59.95 one time set up fee? Has anyone else had this happen and is it legit? Didn't do it but would like to know. Thanks.

- Answer I recently installed a new Roku Ultra, and had no similar experience. To my knowledge, the only other charges would be associated with providers such as Netflix, SlingTV, etc. I had no setup fee.

- Answer Big differences. Better Plex compatibility when playing high bit-rate sources, smaller footprint, cooler running (no fan), auto stand by that works, redesigned remote (better button placement), and up scaling for both 720p and 1080p.

- Answer Ok if you are a Man you know the montra... always go BIGGER whenever you can. and You get your moneys worth. If you put in a substandard product between your Roku and your TV you will get a sub standard picture.

QuestionOur television is a Samsung 8000 led tv. It is not new. Will I be able to use this device and download amazon prime? Right now I can stream Netflix on a google box but not amazon prime. Should I look for another device ?

- Answer I have an old Sony Bravia (8 years old), that runs just fine with the RokuUltra connected via HDMI. Can access AmazonPrime, Hulu, Netflix and various other apps without any issues. AmazonPrime made a change recently in terms of which devices can use their apps (I think Google used to but can't now). - Answer I believe what you mean is that you are "fumbling". However you can now get NFL sunday ticket independent of directv which you can stream on computer etc...

- Answer it should be available now. Best to buy it through bestbuy.com and specify your store for pick-up, that's what I did when my store didn't have them on display.

- Answer Yep. That is the way I have mine setup. The antenna goes to the RF (coaxial) port and the Roku goes to any HDMI port.

- Answer Your TV should have an "input" button for going from HDMI (for your Roku) to the broadcast channels. Another press of the button, and it should go from the TV channel back to the HDMI port with the Roku. Hope that helps!

- Answer There are many channels available via the Roku that do not have a fee associated with the content. Roku doesn't provide access to network TV although you can generally get that fee through the air with a simple antenna such as a Mohu Leaf. Roku is a great vehicle for accessing your Netflix, Amazon, Hulu or other similar accounts.

- Answer Yes, I have a Panasonic plasma HD TV and it works fine. I bought this because I'm planning to purchase a 4K in the next year or so. Just make sure you get a good quality 4K HDMI cable. I tried to use my standard cable and it didn't work, the picture was screwed up. Once I switch over to a 4K cable it works fine. I haven't had a problem since.

- Answer Yes, you can login with your Charter credentials to the ESPN app on Roku. However, you have to have access to ESPN through Charter cable service (i.e., if you only have Charter WiFi without cable, then you cannot get "the ESPN"). You can also get the Charter app on Roku, which allows you to stream all channels you get through Charter cable service.

- Answer Yes that will work. If you use a wired connection via the network jack on this unit your network response time will be better and you'll find the responsiveness of the media apps to be fine. More speed will give you better streaming, but this unit will accommodate many internet connectivity rates. Ultimately though it is up to the channel providers to code their channel apps to be "tolerant" of low bandwidth connections. So while the roku hardware is great, a poorly designed app from the channel store may only work reasonably when it is connected to a fast enough connection to the web. In my experience a slow connection will simply just take longer to initially buffer or in Netflix's case, they'll step-down the stream quality to get your film playing quickly while increasing quality over time.

- Answer I had this problem in my own home. The Wifi was set up for the highest possible speed, but in my bedroom, on the second floor, it was considerably weaker. I was advised at BestBuy that a signal booster would help. Someone at the cable company told me I needed to buy one that turned out to be pretty expensive. At Bestbuy the associate informed that the much cheaper model should work fine. It has made a huge difference. Putting one in your RV should give you the same results.
