Yes, I have a Panasonic plasma HD TV and it works fine. I bought this because I'm planning to purchase a 4K in the next year or so. Just make sure you get a good quality 4K HDMI cable. I tried to use my standard cable and it didn't work, the picture was screwed up. Once I switch over to a 4K cable it works fine. I haven't had a problem since.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will still work, but if you don't have 4k TV maybe get a cheaper model ROKU player, since you dont need the 4k capability just yet. when you get the 4k tv than you can get this one.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you have an HDMI input on your tv this unit will serve you well. Thats all that is needed to make it work with your tv, along with an active internet connection.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it is. I have an Android TV built into my 4k hdtv and it works fine. When using the Roku, you would just select the input port (which HDMI port you plugged it into) from the source menu. As far as display options I believe you have two different 4k display option as well as a few no 4k options such as 1080p. I personally prefer my Roku to the apps on the smart TV as they operate much faster.
