you can add an sd card
Sorry, there was a problem. This unit has both. Now that I'm using it I really like the remote that came with it because it can operate my tv and has volume buttons on it too. I originally bought the premiere + roku which is very similar but thr remote doesn't operate the tv and it has less internal memory because it would only store a few apps and then kept asking me to put in an a micro sd card. What happens if you don't is that it will only remember one sign in at a time. So each time you go to another app you have to resign in. Otherwise they both do 4k HDR which was something i was looking for also. To answer your other question it does not have an antenna hook up. However you can get most channels for streaming and apps for directv, xfinity, sling box, etc. I hope this helps.

Does it work like a TV Box? I would say somewhat. You can jump from app to app to get to your selections. Some "LIVE" podcasts are available; some broadcasts come delayed. Overall, $100 investment. Is it worth it? If it were to last for 5 years, think of the cable costs you would have paid. Not a bad little device. Best of luck.
