THE STAND-PART/KICKSTAND SNAPS INTO A FINELY TUNED GROVE ON THE BACK OF THE CASE. IN TRUTH, YES. I HAVE BROKEN ONE BY TRYING TO FORCE IT IN WITHOUT MY GLASSES IN THE DARK. HOWEVER, ITS ALSO MADE TO BREAK/FALL AWAY SO AS NOT TO DAMAGE ITSELF, ITS CASE, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, YOUR DEVICE. I'M AN ALPHA NERD AND CANNOT STRESS HOW SUPERIOR THIS CASE IS. P.S.- ALSO PURCHASED ONE FOR MY NOTE 8 (CHECK OUT THE SAMSUNG COMMERCIAL FOR THE NOTE 8 RUGGED CASE ONLINE)
