• If your pad supports Qi charging and your case isn’t too thick then yes it would work. I suggest taking ur pad to a store and trying it out.

• I'm not really sure. I own the Samsung Galaxy S 9 plus and use the iHome iBN350 NFC Bluetooth Stereo Dual Alarm Clock with Speakerphone, Qi Wireless Charging for iPhone 8/8Plus and iPhone X with USB Out Charging port, and I don't have to take it out of its cover and charges my phone just fine.
