A:Answer If you are someone who often drops your phone or wants SERIOUS protection from drops or falls - then this case is NOT for you!
If you are like me and keep your device in your pocket all the time (or females inside your handbag) this case gives you protection from being scratched, dust, and minor bumps. I like it since you can see all missed calls, texts, msgs, and more while the screen is CLOSED.
There is NOT any type of magnet, snap or anything else to hold it closed. While using phone you will want to fold the cover back underneath so you can hold it securely. If doing that over time the cover will want to stay open once you lay it down flat on its back. All I do is lay phone face down w cover closed and the cover then "bends itself"back to a more closed like position and within minutes it stays closed for you again. No big issue for me on that matter.
Its a cheap way to keep your new Note 7 protected from the minor things in life and maybe a few low height falls. If you are looking for something for major abuse I highly advise you to look at something sturdier and meant to take a beating. I just got something like that for myself too - it even has a magnet in back and another piece to mount in your car vent so that you can hang the phone onto it using the magnet - thus allowing you to see it when being used as a GPS or see incoming calls or texts easier. Thats my 3 cents on this cover, which was the ONLY choice left when i bought phone. Glad they had it since I use it most often!
