• All Apple Pencil’s gen. 2 charge with the case on for said iPad. If they didn’t we would see thousands of apple heads complaining about it. It is for such a reason that the otter box for iPad gen 3 11” had the built-in screen protector removed for supposed glare issues

• It charges with the case on. The 2nd generation pen is magnetic and it attaches to the magnetic strip on the iPad through the case.
