• I'll answer my own question since I did buy this item. Yes! It fits perfectly with bigger phone cases like Otterbox.

• It fits my S8 but you need to press hard and sometimes numerous times for the screen to react. The glass feels very thick. The manufacturer said it only has glue on the edges and that might be causing the problem. They are sending me replacement to try to help me eliminate the issue. Excellent customer service.
