For most users ive seen swapping the usb out fixes things but mine has never worked on any computer and with any cable. Do me a favor and send reverbDOTcom an email saying there is this guy out there named ethan who is a telling his story of being missdealt by them! then get in touch with the manufaturer of your mics tech supp00rt and ask for James and tell him ethan says he (james)helped yet another buyer of this mic a year ago who got theirs at best buy and none of us know if he ever fixed it. and that ethan is sad at reverb.com and wants samsons help because their mic is d e *e c t i v * ! I l l I will provide you with tons of customers talking about having this issue. do that for me and yourself, will ya.

A:AnswerIts the worst cable mine change in connection and falls out, iv got the mic from a present from 2 years ago i used it for a week while streaming but kept falling out, soo put it in the package again and in the closet, soo now 2 years later i startet recording YouTube and thought i whould give it a New try, but its still a problem. The connection keeps changing the sound and suddenly the sound completely dissapear. Worst mic ever.
I feel soo scammed i researched for a long time before i decide to wish me this mic and then it just that bad. Very unhappy.
I Even tried to contact Samson and he just said No it wasnt suppose to be that way, and didnt write anything Else. Jesus Worst custumer service aswell.
A:AnswerIt comes with a link to download MOTU Performer but you can use other software, such as Audacity. I haven't bothered with Performer since I already had Audacity, which is enough to record.

A:AnswerI think you should be able to use it for Karaoke. You would need to hook the mic up to your computer and then hook your speaker up to the microphone jack (standard headphone jack). If you can't hook it up to your microphone then you would have to have a way of hooking it straight to your computer. I think the first way would be the easiest to accomplish.
A:AnswerI think it records very well. The only bad thing I can think of is I now have several songs I've saved as mp3 files on my computer but they all have me singing. I have fun doing it but I'm sure no one else wants to hear me singing.
A:AnswerNot sure of compatibility, but I will share the included USB cable with these is of very poor quality and that might be causing your issue. Had issues with mine before replacing the cable. I would suggest using a different cable, preferably a newer (thicker) one.
