Rest assured this mic will not pick up key board noise like other mics, since the q2u is a dynamic microphone it’s sole purpose is to basically reduce all background noise, hopefully this helps
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As long as your pointing the Q2U away from your keyboard, you will not be able to hear your keyboard much. It also depends on the switches of your keyboard. I have Cherry MX Reds and Blues and you can definitely hear them in the background despite implementing noise gates and noise suppressors in my DAW with the Q2U. But the noise isolation is generally good with the Q2U
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It can depend on how loud your keyboard's switches are. I can barely hear my Cherry MX Blue switches in the background but you can hear them if you try to listen for it. I have found that the noise isolation is a tad better if you use this mic via XLR than if you use it via USB. Overall, the noise isolation is better than your typical condenser mic (which usually picks the sounds of EVERYTHING even if you switch the pattern to cardiod)
