Turntable can be turn off, excellent feature. Someone wanted to know why one would need to do this. Well if you are using a rectangular pan of a great enough diamention the turntable will be rotating but the pan will crashing in to the inside of the oven. Hope this clears that up.

There is a Turntable On/Off button on the control panel so you can stop it from rotating if desired. Thanks for your interest, Ms. Samsung

Please try again later.To the one who wonders why someone wouldnt want the food to rotate, its simply because they compromise a larger food but they are okay with an uneven heating. This could the reason why. Its not that they want to but something they dlnt have a choice. They might take the food out and turn it manually once in a while. Panasonic makes some models which dont have a turntable. Instead the coil rotates inside the panels.
