• To the best of my knowledge and description of this microwave - it is not a convection microwave.

• No the calrod heater just gives it some browning potential.

• Thanks for your interest, Cyn. The MG14H3020CM has microwave and grill functions, but it doesn't have a convection fan. The MC17F808KDT, however, is an Over the Range version of the Convection Microwave. - Ms. Samsung
