“Recirculating (Non-vented ductless) Page 11 of installation instructions states "A Charcoal Filter Accessory Kit is required for the non-vented exhaust. (See your Owner's Manual for the kit number.) There is not a kit number in the owner's manual. Per the instructions for recirculated (non-vented ductless) on page 13 there is a grill on the front instead of a flat panel. Do I need to purchase a kit and if so where?”

Thanks for the question. Your SMH1622B should have come with a charcoal filter, which can be installed by following the instructions on page 20 of the user manual. If you aren't able to find the charcoal filter in the packaging materials, please call 888-BEST BUY or 800-SAMSUNG for assistance. Though the illustration in the installation guide shows an older model with an exposed vent, the process for installing the charcoal filter is the same. - Ms. Samsung
