• Thanks for the question. The SMH1816B does not have a button specifically for cooking rice. I would suggest checking the rice packaging for microwave-specific cooking instructions. The ME179KFETSR Speed Oven, however, does have a pre-set menu for cooking a variety of items, including rice and other grains.
