Haven't had that problem yet with this freezer. However, I did encounter your issue with another fridge. The culprit--had some food package inside that prevented a complete closure. While it looked like the door was closed when I walked away, pressure over time popped the door open. I know it sounds obvious, but ensure the door closes cleanly!
