Should be fine for kids to use for homework. You can easily access the internet and websites with this Chromebook, and it has a built-in word processor (you don't have to pay extra). Hooking a Chromebook up to a printer is a little harder than hooking up a Windows based laptop to a printer (that is simple, intuitive and essentially plug-and-play), unless Google and Samsung have improved the process since I last did it--I hope they have. At $89, the BestBuy Black Friday price, to me this is a very good deal.
