This chromebook has a micro sd card slot. So if his trail cams use a micro sd card then this will work. You will have to format the sd card when you put it the chromebook. This does nothing to harm the card it is easy. Just go on YouTube and watch a tutorial on it. I did one today on mine for the first time.
