- Answer It does not come with Microsoft Office. You have to have an account with Microsoft as with any computer/laptop. I have a Microsoft account. I downloaded each individual app separately so I could choose what app I wanted without being confused by downloading the Microsoft Office app. It's best to download each one individually such as; One Drive, Word, Excel and Power Point. Once they're all downloaded, sign into One Drive first and you will be automatically signed into all the other apps. It's AWESOME!

- Answer For Chromebook 4+. According to this report page ( https://support.google.com/chrome/a/answer/6220366?hl=en ) it's AUE is June 2026. Hope this helps.

- Answer Me personally...It can be used for college. I suggest investing in Microsoft Office so you can create documents, Power Points, spread sheets and anything you can do with Microsoft. I have Microsoft and downloaded each app individually such as One Drive, Power Point, Excel and Word. Get this.....you'll be fine.

- Answer No, this model doesn't have a backlit keyboard. And the ones that cost two and three hundred dollars more that do have backlit keys are difficult to use -- they're like watching a disco show and are annoying. This one works just fine without the backlit keys!

- Answer It should work. My daughter use a chrome book for her online clases (virtual school) and never had a problem. And with the google play store and chrome store you got plenty apps to do pretty much everything you need. Only one suggestion to make your experience and your online clases easier get one with a touchscreen, its make the multi-tasking and multi screens easier to handle

- Answer It really depends on if you have to use windows based apps. My personal experience with a chromebook is that it will do everything your android phone will. Web surfing, anything in the Google catalog, things like that. I am able to use Microsoft Onedrive storage on my chromebook and Zoom works well too. Before making the jump, check out what all your work apps are and do a google search for chromebook / android compatability.
