A:AnswerThey do seem louder than usual under music mode, then seem the loudest under sports mode. No they aren't super loud but I am happy with the volume they give and they do seem to do a good job highlighting certain movie sounds.

A:AnswerI've been playing movies with this audio system and conclude that they only duplicate the front audio rather than adding rear channels (don't hear the usual 'background noise' of surround sound rear speakers). Otherwise the system would be 5.1 but when advertised, it's listed as 2.1. Tech support at Samsung confirms. So ignore the statement in user manual for soundbar HW-KM45C that these speakers expand the system "to true wireless surround sound". Not so, unfortunately.
