QuestionI have the fridge a couple of months and there s a noise, a mechanical adjustment of sorts. Like its trying to drop ice. I did not connect the ice maker yet though. Please advise?

Regarding your concern, the feeler arm is located on the left side of the ice maker. As it is making too much ice, I will be providing you with a troubleshooting guide. - Answer Hi Bee! Glad that you asked why the ice maker produced no ice after the installation of your refrigerator. To answer your question, after initial installation, it may take up to two days for the ice maker to try to fill with ice. Over that period of time, throw out the first 1 or 2 buckets of ice the freezer makes to ensure all impurities have been removed from the water line. - Answer Hi Curious. Thank you for reaching out regarding your Samsung - 17.5 Cu. Ft. French Door Counter-Depth Refrigerator - Stainless steel clearance. Regarding your concern, allow 2.5" of clearance on the hinge side of the refrigerator when installing next to a wall where the handle may make contact. Also allow 1" minimum clearance at the rear for proper air circulation and water/electrical connections. QuestionIs the freezer on this model frost free?

- Answer Yes it is frost free. the freezer gets extremely cold, we had to turn it up to 2 degrees, there was some frost on certain parts for a while after we got it, but it seems to have less now.

- Answer Not sure if there is a model without ice maker, but you can certainly turn off the ice maker if you want ice.
