“Can the the Ice Maker be removed, and the freezer run without it present? I don't have the connections to use the icemaker so I would like to remove it to get that space back.”

Hi Chris, Yes, the ice maker is removable, but it will require a qualified technician to perform the removal. If you don’t plan to use the ice maker at all, we recommend the Samsung refrigerator model RT70F18LRSRAA, which is the same model but without the ice maker.
