“When using a sound bar will the sound still come out of the back of the tv?”

• I have Samsung tv. When you plug in soundbar, no sound from TV.

• Yes..I just turned my tv all the way down so the sound bar is all I hear. Please note the height of soundbars. Something I didn’t consider when I placed it in front of my tv...the remote signal won’t work as the soundbar is blocking it.

• The sound stopped coming out of my Samsung TV once I connected the sound bar using the optical cable. As an aside, I am so glad I made this upgrade to better hear dialogue. Good luck.

• We had to turn the TV volume all the way down manually on the tv remote and then just use the sound bar remote for the sound or it sounded like an echo because they were both going.

• No, the sound either comes out of the tv or sound bar, not both. Sound bar has great sound. Easy to hook up and operate
