A:Answer Our Samsung TV is in a relatively small area (not a great room), and we found this soundbar to provide a great improvement to the internal speakers. The subwoofer paired up to it (the soundbar) via Bluetooth with no effort at all. It was easy to connect to the TV using an optical cable.
An added bonus is that it "understands" the same volume up/down signals from our Dish remote that control the TV (thanks for that, Samsung), so we didn't have to reprogram anything. The single downside, which is just mildly annoying, is that when you redirect audio to external speakers on the TV to utilize the soundbar, when you change volume on the soundbar a "Not Available" warning message comes up on the TV briefly, because it knows its own internal speakers are disabled. Maybe newer Samsung TVs can detect the external soundbar better, or there is a code for volume we can program in to the remote that is unique to the soundbar. Not worth the effort, really.
I'm not an audiophile by any stretch, but I like the improvement in sound quality. I think you will be pleased with this unless you are looking for home theater media room sound quality.
