Hello Lester1,

Downloading the SmartThings app allows you to monitor and verify the status of your microwave oven, as well as remotely manage the vent fan speed and cooktop lamp.

You can still operate this microwave manually because connecting to Wi-Fi or using the SmartThings app and voice control are optional.

This microwave model supports Bixby, Amazon Alexa, and Google Assistant for voice control.
