“Is the screen matte or glossy? I'd like to use it outside and in bright sun. My old HP laptop is so reflective that it is almost impossible to use outside! Hoping this one is better??”

glossy, but screen covers for sunlight are cheap, readily available and effective on most laptops

But the screen is a gloss reflective. Maybe they make a matte overlay screen for it. Bought the Logitech MX Anywhere 2S wireless Mouse for it. Perfect pairing. I bought the Geek Squad certified excellent open box and saved a bundle. Signed up for the Office 365 bundle also.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The computer has a glossy screen. If you will be outside in the sun, I recommend just splurging for a matte screen protector that will help do the trick - the computer is way to powerful and accomplished to pass up due to the glossy screen alone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The screen is glossy -- I just took my Samsung Notebook 7 Spin outside, where the sun is shining brightly, and I would definitely say the screen is highly reflective, almost like a mirror.
