Questionwater dispenser dripsWater drips out of the through-the-door dispenser after getting water from it. When we first got it, the water wouldn't stop dripping and I was told to just drain a lot of water from it and the air that was trapped in the water line would eventually get out. It doesn't drip as much anymore, but we still have 5 or 6 drops after finishing getting the water, so we have to wait with the cup in the dispenser so the water can drip inside the cup. Does anyone else have the same issue?

- Answer Hi BelleCi, It isn't unusual to have a few drops of water come out after releasing the paddle, and Samsung recommends holding the cup there for a few seconds longer. If water drips when you aren't dispensing water and you've already bled the air from the lines, it's possible some residual ice remained in the chute, particularly if crushed ice was the last type dispensed. Wiping the chute occasionally may help to alleviate this issue. Thanks for the question, Ms. Samsung

QuestionIs there supposed to be a removable type grid under the water dispenser, over the trough, for drips?Mine was delivered and installed without one and I can't recall if there was one in the store on the floor model. It just seems to be missing something there. The surface isn't level to rest a glass.

- Answer I don't think you can, ours was very strong at the beginning also but when we changed the water filter the first time, the pressure was less. Time for a new filter, hopefully it will not return to the stronger flow.

QuestionThere are vents at the bottom of frig on both side and a vent in the back. How much clearance is needed between vents and the surrounding walls?The reason for the question is I am limited to about 3/4 of an inch on both sides of the frif.is that enough to to ventilate the heat? I only have a 3/4 inch space between the the frig and the surrounding walls

- Answer Thanks for your question, Fred. Samsung recommends leaving at least 3/8" on each side and at the top of the RH22H9010SR, as well as 1" behind it, for air circulation and ease of movement, so your available clearance should be fine. - Ms. Samsung

QuestionHeight of refrigeratorCan someone verify that the height is actually 68.66 inches. Some refrigerators have additional mechanisms on top that actually increase the height requirement. I have a fridge cabinet that is 69" off the floor and need to know if that is enough clearance to slide this unit in.

- Answer Hi Em, Based on the RH22H9010SR specifications, the height without the hinges and door is 68-21/32", and Samsung recommends leaving at least 3/8" above the Refrigerator for air circulation and ease of movement. The height with the hinges and door is 69-27/32". Keep in mind that the front legs may need to be adjusted somewhat to level the Refrigerator. Thanks for your interest, Ms. Samsung

- Answer Steve, Stainless steel is an alloy that contains both magnetic and non-magnetic metals, so the degree of magnetism of the final product depends on how much of each substance is included. There are different types of stainless steels for different end purposes. Most stainless steel used for Samsung refrigerators is not magnetic. Thank you for the question, Ms. Samsung

Questioncan you get this refrigerator WITHOUT the thru the door ice makerI do NOT want an ice maker. I do NOT want thru the door ice or water feature. I want a plain front . But I love the idea of the showcase door on the refrigerator.

- Answer I don't know if it's available without the ice maker, but you should think hard about the showcase dood. I have one, it's fine, but not necessarily worth the money if you want a straightforward side by side without ice.

- Answer I'm not aware of a Samsung rebate but we were told that my power company would give a $100 rebate for upgrading to a better Energy Star rated model. That isn't the case for refrigerators that have so many features.. Their percentage over the set federal "mark" has to be 20% better - meaning using 20% less energy than average I guess - this fridge is only 6% better. Too many fabulous extras that take power to run..

QuestionCan I change the temperature of the water dispensed? It does not feel much colder than normal tap water and I was hoping that it would be colder.

QuestionHas anyone successfully connect this refrigerator to Samsung's Smartthings app for iPhone? I always get stuck in the step in which the Smartthings app tries to discover the refrigerator while it's in AP mode. Again, Samsung and Smartthings are no help.

- Answer I like milk, yogurt and eggs really cold, so I don't keep them on the door. The freeze is GREAT at keeping ice cream frozen. I did have a frozen yogurt that stayed a little softer, but it was like that in the grocery store as well. My Weight Watchers pops stay very firm. Hope this helps!

- Answer The owners manual says that the shelves in the counter depth model should not be adjusted. Doing so may damage the interior according to the manual.
