“How can i adjust the size of the picture on this monitor? At the top the words FILE,EDIT,VIEW ETC are very small while the picture large. Have not found an adjustment for this. The words on the screen (or letters) part is bold print and part is light.”

This would not be a setting with the monitor, it would be with the computer. It will be in different places depending on which system you're running, but they all run around the same guidelines. Open up your system preferences, choose your 'display' sub-category and find the monitor. Once that is done, you can change the under-scan to what matches your monitor & computer. If this is not what you are looking for, you might try the 'Samsung MAGIC Upscale'
