Thanks for your interest in Samsung's RF220 and RF221 French Door Refrigerators. Both of these models measure 29-3/4" wide. To open the door at least 90-degrees in order to fully access the crisper drawers, you'll need at least 3-3/4" clearance on the side that has the solid wall. Your 37-1/4" opening will allow the doors to open more than 90-degrees, which will be helpful for removing the drawers on occasion for cleaning. - Ms. Samsung
