Hi Becca, The door hinges on the RS22HDHPNSR are not zero clearance, and the Refrigerator should ideally be installed so the front edge of the case is flush with your cabinet fronts rather than recessing it so the doors are flush. This should allow the doors to swing open freely. If either side is opening into a perpendicular wall or cabinet, at least 1-1/4" on that side is recommended for the hinge to clear, or at least 2-1/2" if the handle will make contact as well. These dimensions would enable the door to open 90-degrees. For the doors to swing open completely (165-degrees on both sides), a total of 67-7/8" would be needed.
