• The doors are independent two seperate. No handles outside do have handle within the doors pull toward you. The are indented/inverted along the doors. Has the more built in look.

• Thanks so much for asking, sammij! For our "side by side" models (where the freezer and refrigerator sections are next to each other) the doors open independently. These models have a divider between the two sections, allowing each door to seal shut regardless if the other door is open. ^Jecca
