The only thing taking up space behind the fridge is the water line and power cord. No mechanical parts. But beware of the terrible water dispenser. If you use anything other than a very large glass, the water quirts on your wrist. Terrible design.

These dimensions include all attached parts of the refrigerator. However, they do not include the spacing needed for proper ventilation.
