“Is the black stainless steel smudge proof?”

• I don't know about smudge proof but it's extremely smudge resistant. I've had mine a couple months now and very rarely do I see it smudged up (keep in mind I have a two year old).

• Not quite but close,better than the regular stainless steel finish. We have noticed some prints (smudges?) behind the handles,but of course that's where the high traffic is and we don't usually handle the rest of the front that much.

• It doesn't show fingerprints unless sticky fingers. I have two teenagers and I just usually have to wipe down the handles cause they had sticky fingers!

• Yes, the black stainless is really finger print resistant. It's not only beautiful, it stays so clean and super easy to keep clean unlike regular stainless Steele.
