Haven't had it long enough to comment on it's longevity but I can tell you it has the LOUDEST ice maker on the planet. When it fills up the tray with water it sounds like a machine gun... not kidding.

We've had this refrigerator for a month. Love the refrigerator...hate the ice maker. No one has been able to tell us why but the ice maker does not keep up with demand in a household of 4 people. The good news is that we have plenty of freezer space. The bad news is that it has a large bag of ice that I purchased in it!
