Q: QuestionAre the back feet flush with the back of the unit, using all of the 24" recommended cutout depth? Or are they set forward a little? If set forward, how far off the ground does the back of the unit start? Wondering if I need to cut into some 1" molding.

• A:Answer There is one back foot that is adjustable with an Allen Wrench from the front. It is 4" into the unit from the backside of the unit.

Q: QuestionI am looking to replace a Bosch. To install that dishwasher, I had to get an outlet put in as that dishwasher had a plug. Does this dishwasher have a plug, and/or can I get a kit so that I can plug this one in without having to remove the outlet?

• A:Answer Is it as if nothing even happened, even though you heard “sounds” and it goes through cycle? We had this issue after a series of 5C errors (not draining) but then dishwasher was ok for a while and then this issue of it apparently not spraying at all. We just checked lines, for leaks etc but nothing obviously wrong. The next time we ran it was fine again. We also haven’t had any 5Cs since either. The device seems tempermental!-P When it works it works beautifully, quiet and dishes come out clean and dry, better than any other dishwasher we’ve had. But whe you get a 5C intermittently or it doesn’t wash at all for some reason then you are left scratching your head.

• A:Answer We ditched our stainless steel (not black SS) LG dishwasher for this Samsung. Amazingly, the match is amazing. Since the Samsung does not have a protruding handle, even the construction details are compatible. If concerned, I would make a quick trip to Lowes or HD to compare finishes. If satisfactory to you, go for it. We like the Samsung performance and controls far, far better.

Q: Questionthe Normal cycle during the rinse, the tub did not fill and agitate clothes … just a spray while the clothes slowly spinned. Is this correct? did Deep Wash out of concern Normal low water level. Clothes were submerged and rinse filled tub.

• A:Answer Some cycles can last about 2 hours. I use the Express wash which takes 60 minutes. (You give up a pre wash cycle for this speed, but I pre wash in the sink, no need to repeat that. Throwing chunks of food into the dishwasher by not scraping and at least lightly rinsing the dishes is just asking for blockages to develop IMHO.) You can probably find the manual online if you use your favorite search engine and it will answer many questions.
