Thank you for the question. Samsung's water supply recommendation for installation is based on pressure measured in pounds per square inch (psi) rather than flow (gallons per minute). The hot water supply line pressure should be between 20~120 psi and the water heater temperature should be set between 120°F ~ 149˚F in order for the dishes to be cleaned properly. If the water pressure or temperature are too low, the dishes may have food particles left on them. - Ms. Samsung
