Though the control panel design on the DMT400 is somewhat different than the DMR78, the use of digital sensor touch controls, rather than buttons, is similar. In addition, the DMT400 operates at a quiet 51 decibels and features the digital leak sensor, fully integrated LED display, hard food disposer and hidden heating element. Thanks for your interest! Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is no clicking. The "buttons" are rectangle boxes on a smooth, electronic surface. First you push the "power", and what you last ran comes up, (i.e. "normal"). If you want something else, you push that. There is a very quiet "ding" that occurs when you push something. "Buttons" are hidden in the top of the dishwasher.
