Depends on your water. If you have soft water, use powdered detergent and use half as much, as soft water causes excessive foaming. Otherwise, those detergent packets/pods are good but they tend to get stuck in the dispenser. So I just put them in the silverware baskets and have no issues. And use ONLY JetDry rinse agent - everything else will make your dishwasher look like one of those foam parties.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Our favorite is Cascade Complete. Using this, we don't have to pre-rinse at all, and everything is spotless.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I like Finish Quantum, it works very well and is easy to use. No mess like liquid detergent.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Thanks for the question. There are a number of good quality dishwasher detergents available, and any of the three forms are fine to use (powder, tabs or liquid/gel). No matter which detergent type you use, adding a rinse aid to your dishwasher, using hot water (120 - 140°F), and loading the dishes uniformly will help to improve cleaning performance. - Ms. Samsung
