“Do you have to use a filter to make ice? I have a direct line of reverse osmosis water that I can put into my refrigerator and don't need a filter. Also, are the coils underneath easy to get to so that you can vacuum them?”

You can run the ice maker in the RF260BEAESR without a filter as long as you have an external water filtration system in place.
