A:Answer I owned this fridge and found out after ours froze over, Older fridges have a drip pan underneath where naturally occurring water buildup drains to, but in this fridge, it’s all an internal system and there’s a heat coil system that cycles this excess water internally. Ours heating coil was not plugged in during manufacturing, and a repair man came, opened the whole inside up, and showed us everything, it was a real nice learning experience.. Short answer, yes, it’s normal, as far as I know.
