QuestionDoes this frig have the icemaker and water dispenser? I think it is only ice but a sales associate told me it has the water dispenser inside the frig?

QuestionWhat is the real energy useage?I live off solar power, so being super efficient is extremely important. This ad shows RF260BEAESR with the EPA annual consumption 449 kwh. However, it is not listed on the CEE or EPA sites as most efficient (Tier 3). The yellow tag pictured is illegible to confirm what model number it refers to. In fact, this model number is not on the EPA list at all. Samsung's site EPA sticker says 620 kwh http://www.samsung.com/us/system/consumer/product/rf/26/0b/rf260beaesraa/RF260_LABEL-ENERGY.pdf Can you confirm that this fridge really uses only 449 kwh under the standard test? Or is it mislabeled?

- Answer I have this fridge, the energy rating on it was about 18-22 dollars annually to run the refrigerator. I do not remember the estimated annual kW hours it uses.

QuestionI have the rf261beaesr/aa The "change water filter light" came on so we installed a new filter. We didn't realize the instructions said to turn off the water first. After changing the filter we are getting water inside the cool select pantry drawer.

QuestionDo the temperature gauges represent the actual temperature inside? or just a desired temperature? Is it possible to use these as actual operating temperature of refrigerator.

- Answer Actually it shows both. When you push the button to adjust the temp, it will show your desired setting. Otherwise the default is showing actual temp when you open the doors.

- Answer I'm told they are made in 3 locations: Korea, China and Mexico. I'm also told that there are weight differences between them, which seems odd IMHO.

QuestionCondensation between the French DoorsWe have just purchased this refrigerator. After two days of use there is condensation accumulating on the seals between the French doors although the doors are firmly closed. When we open the door the condensation drips onto the floor. Is this normal or should we call for service?

- Answer Thanks for the question. It's normal to have some condensation between the doors, particularly in areas with high humidity. Samsung's RF260BEAEWW has a special feature called "Energy Saver" which controls a low-wattage heater located between the doors that is designed to help evaporate the moisture as it accumulates. When Energy Saver is on, the heater is off; when the Energy Saver light on the control panel is off, the heater is on. Please check your control panel for this light and turn it off if it's on. This should help to resolve the issue. - Ms. Samsung
