• That's what the problem was exactly I had the button off instead of on and I had to hit the reset button all set now thank you

• One possibility is that the Ice Off button was accidently pushed. The one thing about this refrigerator that seems to me opposite from normal Human Factors convention is that the small icon light illuminates when the ice maker is turned off. Because it isn't even clear what the icon is, I would think most people would think the ice maker is on when the icon light is on...….in reality, it is just the opposite.
