We have this unit as well and we have unplugged the fridge to defrost it. I was told that after letting it defrost for at lest 24 hours you should be able to clean up all the mess and plug back in. The issue seems to be a blocke or frozen defrost drain. They also suggest putting hot water in the drain to finish melting or to unblock the drain. There are videos on YouTube on how to do it.
