“Freezer defrost. Every once in a while the freezer will defrost. Does the Samsung side by side have an automatic defrost time. If so how do I shut it off”

• The RS265TDRS and other Samsung refrigerators are self-defrosting, meaning the heaters in the walls cycle on and off periodically to help prevent frost from building up on the walls inside the freezer. This function cannot be disabled and should not effect the ability of the freezer to maintain its set temperature. Thank you for the question, Ms. Samsung
