- Answer Greetings! Yes, the doors on this Samsung refrigerator model can be removed/detached. The depth of the refrigerator when the doors are removed is 29 1/4 inches. - Answer The manual will not help you here. I removed the ice maker, emptied of ice, placed it back in, then sprayed isopropyl alcohol into it to open up the ice log jam. After an hour it began to deliver ice.
