It does crush ice but one or two cubes come out whole and it’s a little slow.

This Samsun is far superior to previous ones we have owned as it produces compariitively huge quantities of ice .... that dispense in either crushed or cubed. It obviously also dispenses water to include in a pre-filtered water pitcher. Great refrigerator!
